Proven technology, backed by more than 35 years of warehouse automation experience
Attabotics is entering a new era: one that pairs a uniquely space-efficient goods-to-person storage and fulfillment platform with the practical experience, financial stability and customer-first culture of LaFayette Systems.
LaFayette purchased the Attabotics technology in October 2025, bringing it into a family-owned organization that has served the material handling industry since 1989. Together, we are building on years of exceptional research and development to deliver a stable, commercially ready solution supported for the long term. Our focus is simple: apply innovative technology where it creates measurable operational value, then stand behind it throughout the life of the system.
Built by a Family and Grounded in the Industry
For more than three decades, the Robbins family has built LaFayette Systems by earning trust one project and one relationship at a time. What began in 1989 with deep expertise in conveyor and sortation controls and software has grown into a family of companies focused on powering high-performance automated warehouses.
That growth has been deliberate. Each company adds a capability the others rely on, and Attabotics now extends that portfolio with a differentiated three-dimensional cube storage platform designed to make inventory immediately accessible.

The Robbins family has guided LaFayette Systems with an independent, customer-first perspective since 1989.

A New Foundation for Attabotics
The October 2025 acquisition placed the Attabotics technology on a fundamentally different foundation. Attabotics is now independently owned by LaFayette Systems, a debt-free, family-owned business. We are not influenced by outside shareholders, venture capital firms or private equity groups whose timelines and financial agendas can compete with customer priorities.
Independently owned
A debt-free, family-owned business with no outside shareholders, venture capital or private equity setting the agenda.
Directly accountable
Our accountability runs to the customers and integrator partners who depend on our systems. That lets us make patient, practical decisions and invest with a long-term view.
Manufacturing on both sides of the border
Attabotics systems can be built in Calgary or at LaFayette's facility in Kentucky. That gives us options to manage supply chain risk that a single-plant supplier does not have.
Attabotics also benefits from the full LaFayette Systems footprint and domain expertise. Engineering, business and manufacturing operations continue in Calgary, and LaFayette's Kentucky facility adds a second place to build. Having both brings production closer to customers and strengthens long-term service and parts support.
It also gives our customers stability when the global supply chain has none. Tariffs, labor disputes, worldwide health disruptions and changes in tax policy can stall a single-source supplier and push costs onto the customer. With two facilities, we can shift production to whichever side of the border keeps materials flowing, holds lead times and keeps project costs predictable. That is insurance built into how we operate, so our customers are taken care of no matter what is happening in the wider world.

Technology with a Practical Purpose
Attabotics was created to use the full warehouse cube. Its three-dimensional storage architecture delivers high density and rapid access to inventory while integrating into the broader automation and software environment around it. The platform has progressed through extensive engineering refinement, certification and real-world operation, creating a strong foundation for continued commercialization under LaFayette ownership.
Our combined team brings together veteran Attabotics specialists, new leadership and decades of experience in controls, software, engineering, manufacturing, integration and field service. That mix preserves valuable technical knowledge while adding the operational perspective required to deliver reliable, connected warehouse solutions.
